Task 2: First Draft

This phase will culminate in the creation of the first full draft of the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances, accompanied by a comprehensive set of Design Standards. Also, the first draft of a detailed parcel-specific zoning map will be developed. These drafts will incorporate graphics to clearly and efficiently communicate the proposed standards such as lot sizes, building heights and setbacks, and other relevant regulations. In this phase, we will analyze the proposed standards to ensure the suggested regulations are feasible and realistic, considering the types, patterns, and amount of development anticipated in Mecklenburg County.
